is this possible to do in a celica? this is a highly modded 3sgte engine thrown into a supra. it is one of the most popular supras in the world...
i was amazed to see that somebody would put a 4-cylinder into a car that has a stock 6 cylinder (and probably twin turbo). but if you look at the numbers, he is pushing 530kW @ 8500rpm, and if i remember correctly that's around 750 hp on a turbocharged 4 cylinder (or as we like to call it...the 3s)!!! top secret supra can it be done in a celica? i'm new to the engine performance department, but it seems fesible to me... tell me what you think. -------------------- ![]() this is what happens when your little brother is better at photoshop than you are |

Sigh.
The Soupers run 3S-GTEs due to the Japanese GT racing regulations. They breath through restrictors, so 500bhp is about the limit. The 3S sits a lot further back and is lighter than the 3 litre straight six, so improving the handling. Pound for pound, the 2JZ-GTE will put out more torque than a similarly modified 3S. It's an extra half an engine after all. Top Secret will sell you a balls out 3S to go in your lawnmower if you have enough cash. The engine will drop in a Celica no worries at all. Can you afford it? -------------------- JDM ST205
