So, I just got back from work, and my moonroof refuses to close. The bastard will go about 10% and then it seems to get stuck and make a grinding noise.

Has anyone replaced their moonroof motor? if so, I guess the motor is behind the moonroof behind the headliner?

Thanks for the help in advance, and I hope it isn't planning on raining anytime soon.

well, I suppose it must be a gear like you said, because the motor will still move the window a couple of inches when I pull the window further up the track. I'll tear it down tomarrow night and have a look see.

luckily I got the moonroof closed in case it rains tonight
