ok, its getting REAL hot around here and my g/f won't stop bitching about me not using my a/c.
i tried it a couple weeks ago and it was blowing cold air. figured it needed charged. took it to a friend that charges a/c systems and he said it was full. said my a/c clutch wasn't engaging.

any way to fix it, or am i gonna have to just replace it.

im getting my windows tinted soon and sitting in a black interior, windows up in 100 degree weather WILL NOT FEEL GOOD!!
lol

Depends on what's wrong. You can try applying 12 volts directly to the black and white wire going to the compressor. If it engages then I'd say check your A/C relay and pressure switch. This is all assuming you've checked your fuses first.

EDIT: This may help - http://wannabegt4.myftp.org/aircond.pdf
