alright, problem w/ my car. One of the hooks holding my battery on the mount snapped and my battery fell in the engine leaning up against one of the tubes. It did it when I first had the car, but I put it on and it hadn't done it since. So my car had two power surges as I was turning into my street and then when I turned it off, I couldn't turn it back on. (this was before I found out the battery fell) All the wires look fine and all the connections are fine and the fuses are all good. I haven't figured out how to check the relays and I don't see how it could be the starter because the starter is on the other side and under (pretty much) the engine. So does anyone have any suggestions for what the problem could possibly be?

Did you say whether the battery itself was checked out?
Did the battery make contact or short to any part of the engine body, there might be scorch marks if this is the case. If it has discharged on any part of the engine you may have damaged one or more of the cells in the battery.Surges or electrostatic dicharges could also damage control electronics, ECU etc, get it checked out by someone qualified. |
