I was driving my car down 17-92...came to a stop light, went to put in gear and it wouldn't go...tried revving and going into gear that way...wouldn't budge...A guy was cool enough to tow my car to a parking lot...as I was sitting there waiting on my brother I was playing with the gears...it would go into gear with the car off...so I tried starting it in gear...and it di died in first..so I tried 2nd...and she started to pull forward with the clutch pedal all the way in...so I gave it gas..and I could go forward...but I can not shift gears while the car is on...so I decided to ride the car home in 3rd...anyways...I can't understand why it's doing that...
Is it possible it's the syncros? Or is it just the clutch? Cuz it was pulling the car with the clutch all the way in... Mind you I haven't driven this car hard...I've only put 30 miles on it...So my mechanic is getting a visit tomorrow So my question is...anyone have any idea why it's doing this??? |

dude, i would say that your clutch is gone, i had the EXACT same experience when my clutch went out on my car, except when i started my car in gear it was really jerky like, was it the same way for you? cause i guess it could be that you have no fluid in your reservoir, or that you might have air in the system, but i doubt that. i would say that your clutch is gone.
