My dad has a 1998 Toyota Celica GT convertible. We got some KYB GR2's part numbers: 365092 AND 334125 AND 334126. We also have H&R sports.
For the front shocks they are just the cartridge (straight tube with nothing on it). There is no perch for the spring to rest on. What am i supposed to do (about there being no perch)? I looked at the suspension install DIY article but i need to know specifically about this aspect of the install. Thanks for your help. This post has been edited by h0ckeyplr: May 10, 2003 - 2:58 PM |

You have to use the strut housing from the stock struts. Cut off the top of the the strut, pull out the stock shock and insert the new cartridge. If you are getting KYB's, I think you have the wrong part numbers. KYB makers the whole strut for the celica, I believe.
