I was driving my car down 17-92...came to a stop light, went to put in gear and it wouldn't go...tried revving and going into gear that way...wouldn't budge...A guy was cool enough to tow my car to a parking lot...as I was sitting there waiting on my brother I was playing with the gears...it would go into gear with the car off...so I tried starting it in gear...and it di died in first..so I tried 2nd...and she started to pull forward with the clutch pedal all the way in...so I gave it gas..and I could go forward...but I can not shift gears while the car is on...so I decided to ride the car home in 3rd...anyways...I can't understand why it's doing that...

Is it possible it's the syncros? Or is it just the clutch? Cuz it was pulling the car with the clutch all the way in...

Mind you I haven't driven this car hard...I've only put 30 miles on it...So my mechanic is getting a visit tomorrow

So my question is...anyone have any idea why it's doing this???

Well there are some questions u should ask urself, how high was the clutch in the first place. The closer ur clutch is to wearing out the higher on the pedal it engages. if it engages while the pedal is still pretty low, then its relatively new, if the pedal is almost all the way up, ur clutch is going to need replacing soon. Secondly, ur clutch probably isnt just going to go, all at once. It'll start to slip. This can be described as, ur car starts going from 3000rpm, to 5000rpms, and ur speed doesnt increase. If that starts to happen, park it soon cuz u'll be stuck. What ur describing sounds more like ur slave cylinder is gone. When u cant get it into gear. See what ur mechanic says.
