well, I've been searching occassionaly, and pondering some different options.
I saw the omnifi 20gig setups, considering aux inputs, seen the dvd head units, considered a carPC, and looked at the neo jukebox setups. I havent really used any of these options (omnifi, dvd unit, carpc, or neo) in a car, only messing around at the audio places for the dvd units. I have used aux and dont really like having to control them two different places. I really want to eliminate cases and cases of cds, but I would kind of like it all to be organized in one head unit - or be able to control it with my head unit. Anyone have any interesting setups or suggestions to do this? Any pics of an omnifi or a neo installed? If you have something, please include a price estimate thanks -------------------- If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.

Plan on amping your speakers, look at the power output of that unit...35x4 peak? Eeesh. That is probably around 15x4 RMS. I guess if you only had stock speakers in you car and your car didn't have the premium sound package, then it would be ok because factory non-premium speakers are right around 15W RMS. If you have anything better than what I just described then you should think about either a different headunit such as something I talked about in earlier posts, or if you must go with this one then amp your speakers. What's the point of having high quality digital music if your head unit destroys the sound anyways?
