As of monday 8-22-05 My car is still stranded. I am only getting spark to one wire(3rd cylinder).
I switched that wire with the other ones to make sure the wires were good, and they are. A new cap and rotor didn't do anything but oddly now only the 4th cylinder gets spark. I tested the coil and I get 0 resistance between the primary coil when I should be getting some. A test to the secondary coil shows the proper reading. Look slike I am going to have to replace the coil. Does anybody know if there compaitable between 94-99? How about 5th gen? I am curious if there the same since its obd vs obd2. QUOTE(madmods @ Aug 19, 2005 - 4:43 PM) I heard from someone that the ECU computer shuts off the fuel pump. Is this true? Should I just disconnect the battery to reset it? Its not a hard thing to try.. ?I would still replace the fuel pump.. cause its prolly has crap in it, if you drove it empty. |
