BEAMS swap.., what trans do i need? Options

Im looking into duin a swap in my car over the winter or next summer. So im lookin into a 4age silver top, 3sgte, or a BEAMS 3sge. Im thinkin of duin the beams the most. Im just curious on what transmision i need if i do this swap. Could i just use my factory one on the 5sfe? or would i need to go to somethin like an MR2 tranny??

if you get a clip then use the 3sge tranny. It has better syncros and you will have a higher top speed if you use that tranny over your 5sfe. Plus the 3sge axles are much stronger than the 5sfe and you would want them because of the power/torque of the 3sge.

A silvertop swap wouldn't be recommended because you have a GT-S, not an ST (you have a S series and the silvertop is an A series)
