ok, if anyone could help me, i need assisstance re-wiring my pioneer radio. i just got a dvd player and wired the output from the dvd player to the back of the radio to the auxiliary ports. now 2 things, 1-the volume only goes on to a certain level, but doesnt play thru the subs, just the door speakers 2-i hear a humming noise everytime i press on the gas when its in aux mode or when theres silence in the dvd, if anyone could help me out, id appreciate it....

OK, well initially I'd tell you to bring it somewhere to have it checked out, but I think I have a few things you can check and if it still happens then bring it somewhere.

1) When you connect RCA's together make sure you wrap the connections with electrical tape so there is no exposed part of the plug. You may introduce noise into the system that way.
2) Run the RCA's for your subs down the opposite side you run the power for the amp.
3) Upgrade your RCAs going from the DVD player output to the Pioneer Aux-In.

I have brain freeze right now so I can't think of anything else, but I will post if I do. Another thing that would help is knowing the exact equipment you are hooking up with model numbers. Hope it helps.
