well guys, im lookin for a cheap car to hook up for drifting, I dont have alot of money to spend (somewhere around $3000) for a stock car. I know 240sx's are popular, but what else is there thats cheap. Keep in mind im not going for a 350z or anything like that, just basically a car if my engine blows, i couldnt care less.

The cheapest way to drift is with an american car usually, look for an old Buick Regal (really cheap)
Firebird/Camaro (torque monsters and good handling on the '93+ models) Caprice (good suspension and an LT1 in most plus a good starter car) Mustang (they are really good for sliding around corners due to the crappy suspension) Monte Carlo SS (alright power + RWD) All of these cars can be found for less than $2,000 (exc. Caprice and '93+ Firebird/Camaro and '94+ Mustang, they're still less than $5,000 though) they have alright out of the box power and torque, and parts, repairs, and maintenance is much cheaper.
