Hi,

I've haven't been on this forum for a really long time but I am in need for some help or suggestions if possible.

Do you know what could cause my cars clock and radio to stay on when the car is turned off? The key is taken out of the ignition as well.

It happened today once I got my car back from the shop. The shop was only doing some engine work and when I called them they said they never touched any cables besides the cables that were attached to the battery as they had to disconnect the battery.

Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated. Right now I disconnected the battery as I don’t want my battery to be drained out.

(Only the clock in the top of the console and the radiostays on when the key is out)

Thanks

OK relax, you are close. It is confirmed - there is obviously a bare and live (+) wire touching something it shouldn't. That is what blew a fuse. That is why your radio and clock is still on. Look around and try to find that wire. Try to find where the spark was, there should be a burned mark somewhere the wire hit. Keep your head up, you are close to solving this...

FYI fuse locations : in the bay and left side of lower dash panel under steering wheel (both inside fuse box covers are labeled)
