I'll admit, I get paranoid before I do something to the Celi that I am unsure about. I have one more question before I make my final decision on getting the 404 Sideskirts (VIS, Erebuni, whatever).
So, if I put these things on, should I be worried about whether maintenance shops will work on my car. Specifically, if you get your oil changed or tires rotated and balanced at a shop, they will put the car on a lift and the underbody/frame of car will sit on top of the lift. If the sideskirts are the lowest hanging thing on the underbody of car, this could be a problem (weight of car supported by sideskirts), unless the wheels are sitting on the lift instead. Let me hear your experiences for those with aftermarket sides or bodykit...will the sideskirts present a problem, or are they pretty flush with the frame of the car? Thanks for listening. |

They don't lift the car by the sideskirt. They use the metal frame that runs under the car and about 3-4" inside the outside of the car. Properly using a lift will not harm sideskirts.
