I dont have a holder tool. Can anyone recommend a way to hold it? Can i jam something after i remove the starter motor? I dont have any money left to rent the tool.

this is gonna be a b* to do.
the last time i removed one of this bad boys was to get a chain tool, that held the outside diameter still while I cranked away. Since you dont want to rent a tool, you might be able to get a rope and let it wrap around the pully a couple times and then tie the other end to the frame? I dont recomend jaming anything into the flywheel cuz it takes alot of force to get the pulley off, you might end up breaking something else (ex. flywheel). good luck |
