Hey,
I'm assuming that its illegal to import a GT-4 to the US, because no one seems to have them. What are the laws on something like this, and is there any way you can get around it? I was thinking about doing the engine swap, but I'd rather just pay $15k-20K and get a real GT-4. What are the laws on this? -------------------- ![]() psalm 69 |

its legal if you add smog equipment to it and pay for it to get checked out to see if it passes. then if it does, a vin will be asigned to it and you can register it and insure it as a 2door 4 seater i4 car.
but that is said in the most simple way. the best thing you could do it go to the local dmv and ask but make sure you say it is only one car and for you otherwise they might tell you about crash testing which is not required if you are importing for yourself -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
