would you have to have this car even if it ran from 15000-25000 for a 94-98 for a US version GT-4

Hell yes. What else would you buy w/ $25k... a wrx? bleh. LanEvo and STI are both $30k or more... a 3rd gen 3sgte GT4 with $5-10k invested would smoke 'em both easily, I would think.
