 Gas mileage with a turbo |

I am hoping that I will be able to turbo my celica within the next year, however with the gas prices now over $3 a gallon. Fuel economy is now a big factor in my decisions. I dont mind paying for high test but I was wondering how people with 7afte do for gas mileage? Please include what you are running for boost. Thanks.

Probably wouldnt help your gas mileage. Higher compression is dependant upon your pistons and the internal structure of your engine. By adding boost, your engine will naturally need more fuel to mix with the larger volume of air under forced induction.
Like Manny said though....it depends how you drive. Its amazing the gas mileage I get with my GT when I'm not always on the throttle.
