 cooling system problem, yay! |

Just got done changing the water pump on the good old 7afe. Now I am running into a major problem. The water is not curculating through the engine.
The radiator is full, and the engine still over heats. The return hose is boiling hot when the engine is warm, while the return line stays cool to the touch. Whats wrong? I got a sugestion to prim the system, how do I do that? |

then filling the system, press the hoses, press and relise press and relise, this way you will get the air out of the system. After some pressin you will notice what you are missing cooling fluid in radiator, refill it and do everything again. You will notice then you have full system, cuz water wount be disapiering anythere. And then filling the system turn your AC to hot side, to fully fill the heater.

Besides bleeding the system, which shouldn't be necessary for the Celica according to the BGB, the thermostat is the only thing left besides a major blockage somewhere (God forbid). --------------------  Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |
