I have a 94 Celica ST. Drums are starting to make noises. Its time to change those shoes. I can't take of the drum, I waked it with a hammer a lot. Am I going crazy or am I doing something wrong? Do you need anything else? Please help me!

hit the drum with a rubber hammer a couple times. Then, thread two 12mm bolts into the small holes near the middle of the drum.
This should push them out. Drum brakes wear out very slowly, I recomend cleanging them and checking pad thickness before you change them. They are a head ache to take apart and put back together. |
