Ok, guys since there is no way for me to find a junky 6g GT in my area. I found a 4th gen GT-S. Im gonna use the throttle for my 4age swap and the thing is. The car also has its 4 calipers. Now the thing is will these things fit on my 6th gen car?
It would be great if someone can help me out. Otherwise I might just go out there and grab the calipers and see if they fit or not ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by soulshadow: Sep 12, 2005 - 10:22 PM |

QUOTE So you are saying that the 4th Gen's rear calipers will fit on a 6th gen? It is also a 5 lug type car. I am not say'n calipers, I am say'n swapping the whole rear suspension assemble, lower control arm, upper, hub, and strut(if you want older) and completly swaping onto your car. I am under taking this hopefully this weekend or next when ever my GTS parts car gets here. planning on writing a complete how to and also addressing the E-brake cable as well. QUOTE are the 4/5th gen front calipers larger then the ST front caliper? I am completly unsure about GTS or Alltrac size's but I head someone mention that 5th gen alltrac are bigger then 4th gen. I would reccomend this to all looking for better braking power yet stay'n cheap is takin off your front Rotor, Caliper, takin them to a parts store and exchaning them as your core for 5th gen Alltrac or GTS front setup, it will cost about 100$-200$ + core but well worth, just make sure to order your caliper bracket from a different store or they might catch on.
