 CAI vs Short ram |

I know this has been asked 100 times but I have a short ram on my GT right now and I recently found the How to for a CAI, I was wondering if there was a big enough difference to spend the 40 or whatever for the piping and the time spent installing? Whats the average power gain on a short ram vs a CAI? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

i've read in a few places that the tubing helps keep heat out... but it will still get hot... but it should be better than the stock air box and a short ram. Its a $35 dollar mod that sounds and looks nice. :-D
