any corrolla 7afe performance header will fit a 6th gen st? the head bolts on perfectly, the only thing is that you need to extend the downpipe thanks |

If replacing the stock manifold with a tubular header eliminates the cat, then just install a second cat under the body. All Celicas, whether they had one cat (by the manifold) or two (manifold and underbody) had a resonator. You can replace that resonator -- use a catalytic converter with a resonated core like the Car Sound 9440x series, and you get to keep sound suppression and clean emissions, without having to rebuild a large portion of your exhaust.
