Bought the bulbs planning to change the colour of my gauge only to find that there are only two sockets for the bulb...
The fuel level, water temp part of the gauge is completely different and uses 3 small bulbs instead of the same bulb that is used in the middle and upper right. Has anyone done it on an automatic before? There are 3 bulbs in place and 2 of them seem to have a 4mm base while the other one is 5mm pic of bulbs: http://img384.imageshack.us/img384/3497/picture0304mj.jpg This post has been edited by soven: Sep 16, 2005 - 9:09 PM |

QUOTE(WannabeGT4 @ Sep 17, 2005 - 2:30 PM) You must have the guage cluster with the indicator for which gear you're in. The US automatics didn't get that style cluster. The bulb looks like a 74 but you'd probably want to check to make sure. a 74 for both the small bulb and the big one ? Not really clue'd up on LEDs. What would I need to look for. This post has been edited by soven: Sep 19, 2005 - 9:30 PM |
