I am installing my quickshifter today and I got up to where I need to install the cables back on. I went to put the clip in on the side (not the ball) and it fell out and into the car somewhere. I have been looking everywhere and I can't find it. Does anyone know if I can make my own clip or something? please help people!

I ended up sticking a safety pin in it and duct taped the pin until I can go to a junkyard or a dealership and find an actual pin.. or do you think the safety pin will hold?
