ok so my 3sgte swap is SO close to being finished. i just need to know what a few wires are for. sorry for the bad pics, all i had was my phone.
this first one is back next to the firewall, it comes out of a large bundle of wires behind the TB... ![]() these 2 wires are right by the alternator. i think they're for the AC (wich i wont have) so i might not have to worry about these ![]() and finally, what is this hole for? it looks like a sensor should be in there, but i dont know... ![]() i'd really appreciate any help. its gonna be pretty much finished today other than these few things and maybe the power steering. Thanks! |

Thanks! With the first one, that could be for a VSV. Get a pic with a wider angle, showing the color of the wires. The second one is very out of focus and again doesn't show the wire colors. Probably they are for the a/c, like you said. That hole normally has a plug in it on the 3S, you can take the plug out and put your radiator fan switch from your old engine in there (since on the GT4 the fan switch is on the bottom of the radiator). Now go get some better pics! ![]() This post has been edited by Dr_Tweak: Sep 20, 2005 - 10:57 PM -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |
