Well today I drive to "the block at orange" big place with lots of shops and a theater to go see the matrix reloaded, and when I get back out to the car to go home I find a note on my car and it says,
I am looking into buying a celica, so if your willing to sell within the next month give me a call. Karina 714-xxx-xxxx As this ever happened to any of you, I felt so proud of my car knowing someone was admiring it wishing it were theirs.... ![]() |

When I had the Vett I took it into a locl place get a new set of tires installed... The guy was like, "Wow, I like your car. I don't guess you'd sell it would you?" I told him no and went about my business. When I picked up the car, it cornered strangely and felt like the rear end was floating. So, I took it back in to have it alligned (thinking that was the problem.) They looked at it and gave me a $2000 list of problems with the rear suspension and said they didn't know if the car would make it home with me. ha...
Then he (the guy that wanted to buy it) said "I'll tell you what, I'll pay you 6k for the car if you just want to get rid of it. I laughed and drove the car to MY mechanic who fixed it for about $600. He said it looked like they'd left the bolts on the rear tires loose. This caused the rear wheel bearings to be DESTROYED by a 16yo corvette driver. he said there was no way to prove it though, since I took it back to them and they most likely tightend the bolts and tried to buy the car off of me... Moral: never go to big10 tires. Jon |
