just want to know if there are good engine swaps and staying auto (ya i know...but i cant afford tranny swap+engine...due to university)
I know that the GT/GT-S tranny cant handle lot of power like a 3rd gen 3s but would it handle something like a 4AGE, 3SGE or 2nd gen 3s or the tranny will still grind? if not...what is the limit it can takes?...it is physically doable to connect the auto GT tranny to those engines anyway? I read on this board that the tranny would handle a 3s with a standalone ECU (i guess it was 2nd gen that the person was talking about)..if it's true what would be the best ECU option? You would need the Camry auto tranny, that would be the whole point
 The 5S ECU will not run the 3SGTE. It's a very different engine.
