On the ct26 there are two vac pipes for the waste gate. the one that points to the turbo goes to the turbo and the on that points away gets capped off when on a 5sfte.
When i cap mine off i cant boost any higher then .30 HG/mm. however when i take it off i am allowed to boost up to .7 cm^2 (10 psi after converstion done) although i only bring it till around 8 psi tops. Whats up with my set up? Ive checked for boost leaks and found none. |

no boost controler, i figured the stock waste gate would do fine considering the amount of boost creep Manny saw in his set up.
stock waste gate level is 7 psi which is roughly .49 kg/cm^2 With that tvs nipple blocked off i only boost at .30 kg/cm^2 which is around 4.26 psi. And just a thought i may switch over to bar/kPa So now im thinking cap the tvs nipple off and put a boost controler and my problems will be solved. As of now by the time i hit 10 psi i have to shift to the next gear. When i reach 5th gear by the time the pressure gets near 10 im already going to fast lol. So thus far I really havnt had a problem. This post has been edited by urbandork: Sep 22, 2005 - 10:48 AM |
