I'm hooking up the wires from my AT200 cluster to the corresponding wires on the new ST205 cluster. Things are a bit different and more than half the wires are either ground wires that lead to screws behind the cluster or are just not used... I have some questions... Can I just tape off or cover the wires that are supposed to be grounded(this way it's like if they weren't in use) or do I HAVE TO ground them to some chassis piece of metal? I'm not going to ground them using the screws on the cluster because they lead to other things or one cluster has more ground wires than the other... Also, can I ground all these wires to on spot? Like if I find a screw somwhere near the metal stuff behind the dash, can I connect all the ground wires to one ground? Thanks a lot guys. An answer a.s.a.p. to all these questions would be unimaginabley greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have a topic about an ST205 cluster. I've seen people here answer very complex electronic questions... I asked simple questions about grounding wires that I figure one would know. I personally took electronics in high school but didn't pay attention. I understand that not everyone's online every second of the day. I'm not either... But when I know the answer to someone's question, I answer it. I contribute a lot to the 6GC community. Even if it's to reply with just "lol" or something... I would appreciate anything right about now... even a smart-ass type of reply. I also understand that not everyone knows everything and the people that read my post may not know the answer but I figure I post my thoughts on this since more complex questions have been answered in a matter of minutes for others. Thanks and sorry if this offended anyone. Those weren't the intentions. I'm just EXTREMELY frustrated with this damn cluster. lol.
