hey whats up guys? in light of the recent tragedies with hurricane katrina (my condolensces to anyone affected by it) and in light of everyone in the south east GRABING THEIR ANKLES paying for gas...i was wondering something...there was a news report about a couple of stations adding ethanol to the gas...its supposedly cleaner and way more efficient, they also "claim" that it is safe to use in most engines in cars newer than 1982...does anyone know for sure if we can use this for the 6gc? im tired of getting raped by the price gougers....
just want to be prepared for rita...i forsee gas prices going to 5$ a gallon! This post has been edited by easternpiro1: Sep 23, 2005 - 10:53 AM -------------------- |

any car can run up to 10% ethanol. to convert a car to a higher ethanol content, you need to change out fuel system parts that are not compatable, and install larger injectors due to the lower air to fuel ratio needed for ethanol. This post has been edited by GeEkBoY: Sep 23, 2005 - 11:44 AM |
