Do you guys think that these bulbs will work on my car?Yes I know that there cheap HID's but i want them anyway.

Unless you have spent a couple thouasand converting your headlights to use gas arc discharge technology, no HID bulb will work in your car properly.
HID is a completely different technology than the halogen bulbs Celicas all use. If it has a filament in the bulb, it's not HID. Since the page wouldn't respond, my guess would be it's yet another "HID" bulb which is actually a blue-tinted halogen bulb. These are crap. They initially produce the same light as a halogen bulb, then filter out the lower frequencies to change the colour. The trouble is, by cutting out the lower light wavelengths, you cut the amount of light by which you're supposed to be able to see. Projectors sort of look like HID, but they're still halogen bulbs, just a better design than the reflector designs on most cars. |
