Hey guys I'm replacing the timing belt, and according to the manual when the hole in the crank pully is at 0 the marks on the cam shaft pulleys should be at the 12 o clock position. But the book I have is for a 91 USDM alltrac. Well at 0 the cam pulleys are at about 10 o'clock and if I turn it another revolution, the pulleys are at about 3 or 4 o clock.
Can my timing be this far off? Should I just reset them? |

Did yours break?
If the tensioner broke you probably needed a new one anyway. Well the engine is in the car now, I'll have pics later this week. I'm still waiting on the ECU and the passenger side mount. Wiring is 99% done I have 5 or 6 wires that either have the exact same colors on the other side of the harness or don't match up to a wire. I'll have pics of those if someone can help out with em. |
