'Scuse my ignorance, but I don't know where/how to check my manual trans fluid. Can someone enlighten me?
I know some cars have unusual procedures for this. Unfortunately, all I have is a '94 Celica manual, and they don't even tell you how to change the oil. I can imagine an arrow pointing at the fuel fill cap: We recommend the filling of the gas tank be done by your authorized Toyota dealer. -------------------- |

What you want to do is have the car on flat ground. Then remove the upper fill bolt, which is a 24mm bolt. If you can stick your finger in pretty much horizontal and feel oil then your level is good. If you need to fill it, just put in oil until it begins to drip out of the fill hole. Again, make sure you're parked on a flat surface.
