Whats the best bang for your buck, to increase your hp in a 5S-FE motor?(totally stock) How much HP upgrade should i be looking at? (with whatever your suggestion is.) And does putting Super or Premium gass really effect hp enough for it to matter?

well here is something that doesn't get talked about to much .. but can/should give you a nice little kick in the ass and in the wallet.. high compression pistions... forged rods... stand alone ecu .... injectors...fule pumpe ... ignition system....
i'm leaving alot of stuff out just coving the basics.... most people will tell you with the money your going to spend to do a sawp and that the FE head is extramly restrictive... but hey sometime you have to stop listing to some people and just cross that line to see where you can go ... example look at manny turboed 5s ... the 5s has the 9.5:1 pistion... so why not do some old school work with a new school twist .. don't only change the internals.. change the ecu so that work and money doesn't go to waste .... upgrade everthong else air/fule/spark ... don't foregt that if you change one us have to change the other 3.... if u want you engine to last and runn right ... i don't know if this made and sense to anyone .. i'm at work and half asleep again... if not i'll try editing it later.. -------------------- |
