well i know this has been talked about before.. but it has been a while.. and just wondering if anyone has seen it done yet... or is planning on doing it soon.... if i lived in a perfect world my gt would have a 3s ge engine in it... and i would be putting a vortech supercharger in it.... 3s should handle the extra power well... but if i or anyone in my family wins the lotto u know what i will be doing....

Ever bothered taking a look at the intake and exhaust manifolds of a Blacktop 3S-GE? Also the Altezza engines sit straight in the engine bay while the Celica/MR2 engines sit tilted.

QUOTE(BLADDER_MASTER @ Sep 27, 2005 - 10:34 AM) Ever bothered taking a look at the intake and exhaust manifolds of a Blacktop 3S-GE? Also the Altezza engines sit straight in the engine bay while the Celica/MR2 engines sit tilted. One would likely have to use the redtop intake and exhaust manifolds. As long as the block bolts up the the tranny, it will be held at the correct angle... assuming that the oiling system is okay with that. -Doc -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |
