For the stock RSX owners here, unless you plan on running around at 7,000rpm I wouldn't try running the new Cobalt SS.

Good point Kwanza, but remember the SS does have a pretty flat torque curve and is very underrated, I ran one a few weeks back and the thing dyno'd over 230whp (at the same shop that did the leaf blower thing) and the guy wasn't modded from what he said (he wasn't from what I could see, but he could have been running a smaller pully). You said it best before that the iVTEC is also an econo motor so lets all get off the whole ecotec is for economy, I think we figured that part out since half the name is "eco". Bottom Line the SS is just as capable as the SRT-4, RSX, and any other powerhouse with a 4 cylinder and even though it looks like a boy racer (no worse than the "powered by PT Cruiser and I wanna be an Evo" Neon) it's still a nice car. I see that GM is starting to pull their heads out of their a**es and getting back in the game, and obviously if they wanted to build a nasty N/A car they would have, it's not like they haven't done it before.

Heh... unfortunately... when it comes to the K20... it's not an economy motor. The K20A3 is the economy version (found in the EP3 Civic SI) but the K20A or K20A2, or K20Z are all performance engines. Honda doesn't take short cuts when it comes to their performance engines... that was the whole idea behind that argument. Anyhow... when it comes down to it... it's a matter of prefrence.
