Last night i had three friends try to help me swap out my cvs and axels but we couldn't figure out how to get the last parts out of either side of the trannie? Any advice would be great.

i had this happen with a 3000gt tranny, ended up cutting the axle just after the inner knuckle and having a tranny shop pry it out... ended up replacing a synchro or 2 as well. hammer and pry bar wasnt enough

You need a good prybar and a hammer. Get the prybar in a good spot and hit the end of it with the hammer. It takes a few tries but it will pop out. -Doc -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |
