Hey all,
I notiice alot of you guys have gotten really good at custommizing your own body kits, parts, etc...

i really taken away with the detail and perfection you guys go thru. but in all honesty. how do you do it???

Im no celica, I own a 240sx... im friends with alot of the members here and theve let me graciously tag along on all the celi meets here in western PA.

Im doing a front end conversion and wanted to customize the front bumper... but I dont see how its done without making another entire mold.
Its a urathane bumper, flexes waaaay to much to use fiberglass, cant use bondo, cant use dura-glass, anything hard will be destroyed on the first bump... do you glue in more pieces of urathane? is their a special techniquie?

someone please explain how you shave lights and such with urathane...???

thanks!: Jon biggrin.gif

hmm... ya, I just never liked many of the kits they make for my car

my plan was to take the stock 97 bumper which imo looks terrible.
cut out the ugly triangles and extend the mouth to appear more aggressive with an IC...

you guys have som clean cars with these suttle additions, i know doggy made a sweet bumper for someone with the lip kit he got from consynx...

i accually found someone who beat me to the idea allready online, but i dont care i still like the look. heres a concept i did of the bumper with photoshop...
i just dont know how these people shave the lights and make it look so clean... : \
