obviously each provider has its benefits and drawbacks.
tmobile has the cheapest plans with the most minutes, pretty cool phones, but crappy reception coverage (the worst, actually). they also have the sidekick with unlimited text messaging, email, real html internet, instant messaging, for $20/month. cingular and verizon wireless plans have competing prices, but cingular has less coverage but makes it up by offering better phones. both have unlimited mobile to mobile included with their plans. cingular has roll over and coming out with push to talk soon. verizon has unlimted nights and weekends. verizon has vcast as well as the unlimited in messaging packages. sprint (nextel) has just as much coverage as verizon but the plans cost a bit more. their plans are fair and flexible and adjust to owners' usage that way u never go over ur minutes. most of their phones have the famous chirp walkie talkie features. they also have pcs vision packages where u can watch tv on certain models. (pretty pricey though) i havent really researched boost mobile or alltel so thats that.....i love boost mobiles commercials but i cant stand the "where you at?" slogan perpetualizing improper english. i guess that is a marketing technique aimed at a different demographic.... i had cingular for a couple of years, great reception, awesome phones. then i had tmobile for a couple years as well. my sidekick does 10 times as much as any regular phone, but tmoble coverage sucks. now that i work for verizon, i switched over to the lg vx9800. anyways im just curious as to which provider is the most famous regardless of coverage areas. Cingular. The only downside is that I have a phone that says AT&T on it, and since they are gone Cingular won't touch them. My dad broke his antenna off his, and they wouldnt fix it because it says AT&T. Other than that it's fine. I don't have service at my house, because I live in the boonies, but everywhere that actually matters it has close to full, if not full service
