I was just wondering how the fuel gauge works on the clusterr. See I have an st205 cluster now and the fuel wont display. it tells me when im about to run out by lighting up the orange fuel light. but thats about it. the needle stays on empty. anyway to reset this or something? thanks.

^Will that really work???
EDIT: Nah, Charles, it still won't work. "Full" will just become the "dead point" for the fuel gauge because according to Wannabe's connections, my fuel gauge and temp gauge aren't even hooked up. Lol. Which makes sense. Thanks for the suggestion tho. Anyway. I converted what I had done with the wiring to what Wannabe gave me. So this is what he did: AT200---ST205 A01---to---A02 A02---to---A01 A03---to---?NO SRS LIGHT? A04---to---?NO SRS LIGHT? A05---to---?NO SEATBELT LIGHT? A06---to---B03 A07---to---B05 A08---to---A04 A09---to---B06 A10---to---A09 A11---to---N/A A12---to---N/A A13---to---?PARK, NEUTRAL, CLUTCH SWITCH? B01---to---B01 B02---to---N/A B03---to---B02 B04---to---A12 B05---to---N/A B06---to---B07 B07---to---B08 B08---to---B09 B09---to---B10 B10---to---B11 B11---to---B12 B12---to---N/A B13---to---B14 B14---to---C01 B15---to---B15 B16---to---B16 C01---to---N/A C02---to---C03 C03---to---N/A C04---to---C02 C05---to---N/A C06---to---C06 C07---to---C07 C08---to---C08 C09---to---C09 C10---to---C10 And this is what I did: AT200---ST205 A01---to---N/A A02---to---N/A A03---to---N/A A04---to---A08 A05---to---N/A A06---to---A06 A07---to---A02 A08---to---A10 A09---to---C04 A10---to---N/A A11---to---A11 A12---to---N/A A13---to---A13 B01---to---B01 B02---to---B02 B03---to---C09 B04---to---B03 B05---to---N/A B06---to---B06 B07---to---B07 B08---to---B08 B09---to---B09 B10---to---B10 B11---to---B11 B12---to---N/A B13---to---A01 B14---to---B14 B15---to---N/A B16---to---B16 C01---to---N/A C02---to---N/A C03---to---N/A C04---to---C05 C05---to---C03 C06---to---N/A C07---to---C07 C08---to---N/A C09---to---C08 C10---to---N/A I italicized the similar wire connections so I know what I have to change. Are you sure this is correct tho because I'm pretty sure all my lights work at the present time. The only thing not functioning that I know of is the fuel gauge, temperature gauge, the 3 green bulbs won't light up the ComboMeter when I turn on my headlights, and the cooling fan stays on after I pull the key out of the ignition. But I can turn it off by pulling the wiper stick down all the way and pushing it back up when the car's off. Are you sure the Australian version is the same as the Japanese version? Because if it is then I'll go by what you said. Thanks again. This post has been edited by JoKeRkId613: Sep 29, 2005 - 9:08 PM -------------------- ![]() |
