My GT4 is at the paint shop and taken apart. But we don't know how to handle all the sealing gaskets. So the gaskets on the doors and front and back"window". Did you remove the gaskets or did you paint the car with them on and just put tape on it?

I was looking at taking this trim off to paint my car, but for some reason the body shop guy told me "you might not ever be able to get the trim back on right again" is this true?

Witch trim? If you are talking about the black plastci around the windows - its not removible separatly - you can only remove it WITH the windows - this means you need to cut out the rear windows.
