OK. Well I got a new deck and I'm wanting to install it. I got the wiring harness for the 87up Toyota cars...but it wont go at all...not even close...BUT as I was looking online the GM one for 88up GM cars looks like it will match right up...hmmmm any ideas?

Yeah, because I don't know it shouldn't be like this. My friend said this weekend we could take the stock wiring harness...the one that doesn't look like it fits...the one that comes from the stock...and wire that to the new deck so I can use my factory amp. I was advised to check where each wire goes to to make sure it all works...so yeah it's definitely a weekend project. I just don't have the available cash flow to buy a new amp and deck at the moment. It's an older Pioneer (DEH2000) but it has CD and it will work. I'll let you know about that, and maybe write up a little wiring diagram for people who encounter this problem and want to use their stock amp. Later and thanks for the good document. It did help a little...just because I needed to know where the stock wiring harness was. Later.
