As of now my car has 94,000mi and I found out that the first owner never changed the damn timing belt (I asked him). Well now I think that I need to change the timing belt cuz he was supose to do it at 60,000mi. So I called up toyota and they gave a price quote on timing belt and water pump around 460$. But now there is a cupon which I can use to get them to change the timing belt (without changing water pump) for 286$. I think its a pretty good deal. But my question is, should I replace the water pump now. I have 1.8 liter engine and I think that the water pump is not driven by the timing belt and that its diven by (generator/ac pump) belts. So I was thinking just to change timing belt at toyota dealer and if my water pump fails do the water pump myself cuz its not too much work. So please give me some feed back on this.
Thanks

I would have both done at the same tme, or have them swap the belt and when you get it back put in the pump, just easyer to have it done at once then when every you get around to it.
