 oil catch can?, someone explain |

I know they go between the valve cover and intake, but what do they do, how do they work, whats the point, and is it a FI or NA only mod???? do they drain in to the oil pan? or do u ahve to take off the can and poor it out?

how is the can emptied? can u make a drain for it to the pan?
