Well, I'm new to the 6GC community, but I have to say this is one awesome site. I'm only 16 and I can't get my liscense yet until Nov. 4th frown.gif My '96 Celica ST is my first car and I treat it like my baby wink.gif When I first got it I really had no experience with older model Celicas (we were going out to a lot to look at Civics biggrin.gif ), but we saw this one and took it for a test drive and decided it was a keeper smile.gif The engine is surprisingly strong even though it has 130k miles on it, and still runs good after all of the abuse I put on it trying to learn how drive a manual tongue.gif

I plan on working on the suspension and transmission before the end of the year, then doing some work on the engine (CAI, exhaust, ecu, fuel injectors, header, etc.). Nothing too extreme on the engine since I want it to last for a couple more years. I also plan on doing an engine swap in the next couple of years. Well, just wanted to introduce myself and say how good of a site this is, and how helpful it has been.

P.S. Any 6GC users live out by Elizabethtown, KY? I thought I saw one sitting outside of Barnes & Nobel.

Isn't there a movie coming out called Elizabethtown? Welcome.

Yeah, Elizabethtown is the place that the new movie was based on. That's actually where the first screening of the movie took place, and it was at the local movie theatre. Funny because I saw a ton of limos on the day they were having the screening. I think Cameron Crowe was there, but I really didn't pay attention to it.
