other than just saying "just saw it off " can someone please give me the how to on where to cut my shifter or how to make a short shifter..and no I am not buying one .

man, this is the most ghetto thing i've ever heard...cutting the shifter will NOT give you a "short throw" shifter. all it does is shorten the shaft of your shifter...that's not what a short shifter is...anyway, my friend had to lengthen his shifter in his Jeep after he lifted it, and it involves cutting and welding, and his snapped a couple of times...so i mean, why not spring the 100-150 bucks to do it right, and get what you actually want? that's not that much money these days w/ inflation how it is...
