ok well let just state the facts here:
no celica is EVER a dual exhaust.....my car, kidett, and the other guys none of us.... its a single pipe with a Y for 2 tips.....you can get the same gains as a single exhaust or you can get less...its all in how you design it... pipe size, the transition from single to dual pipe it all depends on design...when i did mine i made sure that i was split pretty well, idealy you want to keep a pretty tight "V" shape to get the gases to flow smooth still, and keep your pipes equal lengths.... and the noise isn't because of two mufflers or 1 muffler they can be JUST AS LOUD....the noise comes from removing a cat, removing a resonator or whatever a properly designed and thought out system and be quiet and functional.... but REALLY it just for looks and personally i like to keep it symetrical and one on each side ![]() |
