now i was talking to celicast3sgte about these fake blowoff valves and i trust what celicast3sgte tells me but i just want more oppions on this subject. on ebay there are hundreds of the fake greddys like this onefake greddy what kind of difference will it make will it?? can someone explain why it would. but once again i dont know much about turbos hell not alot about cars period i am working my way up. just need some oppinions. thanks

The only difference is the quality of parts/possible problems.
The knockoffs dont do the job any differently, they're just made of (Well, most of the time made of) less quality parts, crap warrenties, and they don't have a reputation. You might start getting weird behavior out of your turbo is the BoV starts messing because a part of it wasn't made up to par.. but *shrug* Think of it like a pair of speakers. They're all pretty much the exact same, and if you took apart two different brands you'd be hardpressed to tell the difference, because they both function the same. it's the little things like materials, etc. But a brand name BoV isn't going to make your car faster or anything. |
