Ok i curently have a celica in the bakc yard sitting there. With a built 3sgte short block. now im thinking about doing a swap and boost it for fun.

now keep this in mind. keeping the stock tranny/clutch and etc.
Stock excuasht

now what else do i need for this to be sucessfull

so far i got on the list

Ct20b/Ct26
Oilpan
3sgte head
excuasht manifold
downpipe
headgasket
head bolts
injectors
3sgte ecu


is there any other misc other minor bull**** items that i am missing here?

It would not be worth it. Getting a built block and head to flow correctly with a pea shooter turbo is going to be hard. You will have boost creep like crazy unless you had a restrictive exhaust (which would kind of defeat the purpose of the built engine). In addition, the cams and headwork will not allow the stock ECU to perform correctly so you will need some sort of fuel tuning (IMO, standalone is the ONLY smart way to go with this set-up).

I suggest you sell the block on mr2oc.com forum and dump the car (or part it out) for whatever you can get for it. You have a brand new IS300 and you don't need this headache. Getting even stock 3s swaps to run correctly is neither easy or a budget proposition - especially for people who have a very limited experience working on engines. Your engine would add other complicating factors.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
